The Process

The STAM™ certification recognizes professionals who demonstrate expertise, reliability, and a compassionate approach to senior transitions. The process is straightforward, respectful of your partners’ time, and focused on ensuring alignment with the high standards expected by seniors and their families.

• Full name, business name, contact information, and professional credentials/licenses
• A brief description of their experience working with seniors (number of years and approximate number of senior clients served)
• References from at least two recent senior clients or referring professionals (name and contact information only — no letters required)
• Confirmation they hold all required current licenses, insurance, and certifications relevant to their field
• Agreement to the STAM™ Code of Ethics (see below)

A 20–30 minute phone or video call to discuss:

• Your approach to working with seniors and families during transitions
• How you handle communication and coordination with other professionals (realtors, lawyers, move managers, etc.)
• Examples of challenging senior transition situations and how they were resolved
• Your availability and willingness to participate in a team-based process

• I will ask for verification of your licenses and insurance 
• I will verify your references with short calls or emails - 5 - 10 minutes max

Once approved, you receive:

• Official STAM™ certification status
• A digital certificate and logo usage guidelines for your marketing
• Listing on ClearTheWayHome.com and BradfordLuxuryRealEstate.com (with photo, bio, and contact details)
• Access to shared referral processes and marketing support

The entire process is typically completed within 2-3 weeks.

All members agree to uphold the following standards:

1. Prioritize the dignity, safety, and emotional well-being of seniors and their families.
2. Communicate promptly and clearly with the client, realtor, and other team members.
3. Provide transparent pricing and avoid upselling services not needed.
4. Maintain confidentiality of all client information.
5. Work collaboratively as part of the Senior Transition Alliance team.
6. Respond to referrals within 48 hours and deliver services with compassion and professionalism.
7. Hold and maintain all required professional licenses and insurance.
